The Southern Ocean County Hospital Foundation recently welcomed two new Trustees to its volunteer Board of Directors. Joining the Foundation Board are Kymberly Oakes, a real estate professional with Mancini Realty on Long Beach Island, and Robert Simmons, a retired banking executive and resident of High Bar Harbor. Ms. Oakes said, “My previous experience in healthcare makes me keenly aware of the many challenges our Hospital faces. I am excited about the opportunity to help my clients and others, seasonal and year-round residents, appreciate the importance of our Hospital, and understand how they can support us.” “This community is our home,” says Simmons, adding, “It is important that we all pull together to ensure that we have the best healthcare possible.” “We are delighted to welcome Kym and Bob to our Board,” said Foundation Chairman John Flynn. “Our success depends on strong volunteer leadership, and the ability to connect with the community we serve. I know that they will help us advance our important efforts.” Like the Hospital it supports, the SOCH Foundation is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to improving the health status of the community it serves, through its support of the capital and programmatic needs of Southern Ocean County Hospital.
