Recognizing The SOCH Societies The SOCH Foundation is honored to recognize its many generous donors. The Lighthouse Society recently hosted its first annual donor reception. Hospital President Joe Coyle, Foundation Chair John Flynn, Major Gifts Chair Rick Lane, and Executive Director Chris Rollins welcomed and thanked over 50 members gathered at the Surf City Yacht Club. 2007 has been designated as the charter membership period. Individuals making their pledge by year-end will be permanently recognized as charter members of The Lighthouse Society. The James J. Nobel Society continues to grow. Annual Giving Committee Chair Tim Wallace credits increased awareness, an emphasis on membership, and a commitment to donor recognition. “Our quarterly newsletter reaches over 12,000, and this summer the Hospital’s lobby was full, as we unveiled our donor wall, during our annual reception.” Lighthouse and Nobel Society members are recognized in the quarterly newsletter and in the Hospital’s lobby, receive a unique gift denoting membership, and are invited to an annual reception. To learn more about the SOCH Societies, or to make your gift online, visit www.SOCHFoundation.org, or call (609) 978-3081. In addition to the Lighthouse and Nobel Societies, The Knight Society recognizes individuals who have made a provision in their will or estate plan, or are participating in the charitable gift annuity program. The Lifesavers Club was created by SOCH employees to acknowledge the contributions of staff members contributing through payroll deduction.
